Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Bota when you use the Bota app or website. By using Bota you agree to them.

Your account

Sign in with Google or your email. Keep your account to yourself; you’re responsible for what’s posted from it. You must be at least 13 to use Bota.

What you post

Reviews, photos, replies and suggestions you add stay yours. By posting them you let Bota show, store and adapt them (for example resize a photo or show a review on a place’s page) in the app and website, and to promote Bota. You can delete them at any time.

Post only what’s true to your own experience and what you have the right to share. Don’t post:

• fake reviews, or reviews of a place you own or work for, or one you were paid or rewarded to write;
• hateful, harassing, sexual or violent content, or other people’s private information;
• photos you didn’t take or don’t have permission to use;
• spam, ads or links unrelated to the place.

We check posts and may hide or remove anything that breaks these rules, and suspend accounts that keep doing it.

Places and businesses

Place details (hours, menus, prices, locations) come from the community, owners and our own checks. We work to keep them right but can’t promise they’re always accurate; check with the place when it matters. Business owners who claim a listing must be authorised to act for that business.

Our part

We provide Bota as it is and may change, pause or stop features. As far as the law allows, Bota isn’t liable for losses arising from using the app, from what other people post, or from a visit to a place listed on it.

Ending

You can stop using Bota and delete your account at any time. We may end accounts that break these terms.

Changes

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date above and, for important changes, let you know in the app. Using Bota after that means you accept the new terms.
